The Maltby Centre provides mental health and autism services to children and youth. We are the lead agency for Mental Health services in Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington. We work with clients in one of many Maltby campuses, in their homes, in schools, or in other community locations. We work closely with numerous partner agencies to ensure successful service navigation. Maltby Centre was originally established as Pathways for Children & Youth in 1996. In 2018, the Agency was renamed Maltby Centre in honour of the founding director, JoAnne Maltby, who was an incredible advocate for children and youth. Today, Maltby Centre still operates under JoAnne’s vision and strives to create possibilities for change in young people’s lives.

The Maltby Centre places children and youth at the centre of all that we do.

We are an agency of experienced and compassionate professionals who provide proven, meaningful services to children and youth who have mental health needs or a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

We provide free, confidential and accessible Mental Health and Autism services to children, youth and their families in Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington (KFL&A).

We also are the Lead Agency for Roadmap to Wellness in KFL&A.

Serving KFL&A Counties, the Maltby Centre is committed to working collaboratively on a community and provincial level to lead system change through strong leadership and partnerships in Mental Health and Autism services.

The Maltby Centre was originally established as Pathways for Children & Youth in 1996. We are a not-for-profit organization funded by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services, and other partners like the The Knowledge Institute in Child and Youth Mental Health and addictions and the Community Foundation.
